LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
As we all know about the king of custom rom i.e CyanogenMod roms but sadly the service of cyanogenmod rom is now shut down.Now that the cyanogenmod is over that means no more nightly for cm 14, cm13, cm12 etc. From now Lineage os will be the new Cyanogenmod roms.
Known bugs
1- CM File manager can not access SD Card (workaround: other file managers can, so you can use another one)
2- Battery icon in status bar can’t be changed.
